Veteran’s Day Observed

Holmes first grade students

Holmes students observed November 11, 2011 Veteran’s Day with a special gathering outside at the  front of the school. Each student had a small USA flag which they placed in the ground after saying the Pledge of Allegiance. At the end of the school day, each student got to take one of the flags home.
